Easter was so much fun this year! Austin is getting old enough to actually know and talk about what's going on and Eve was just so darn cute trying to keep up with him! We decorated eggs for the first time this year since Austin is older now and it was so fun!! He took the job so seriously and was trying so hard not to crack the eggs! Dad however, was not so careful, and Austin was the first to let him know he screwed up! hahaha!

Evie was too little to help so she played with the stickers.

We also attended our community Easter egg hunt! We waited in line FOREVER to see the Easter Bunny because Austin has been talking non-stop about him for weeks and then of course Austin got scared and started crying as soon as he sat on his lap! Eve, however, was all smiles!! Not a big shocker there.... Austin is the drama queen between the two of them... The egg hunt was short but sweet! Our community is growing so quickly and the HOA didn't provide enough eggs. But it was a fun experience to watch Austin take on all the other kids and for Eve to get her one little egg :). She was more interested in watching Austin anyway....

Easter morning we woke up and the Easter Bunny had arrived! He loaded the kids up with candy and books in their baskets and hid all of our eggs! Both kids had lots of fun egg hunting and then we had ourselves a yummy egg breakfast! After that we went to church and then Mom and Dad ate our Easter dinner in peace while the kids slept peacefully after falling asleep on the car ride home. It was a big exciting day for such tiny people!!

Eve found an egg too! It was the only one she could get her hands on because Austin was so fast!

He was so excited about the fire truck he found in his Easter basket!

And Eve was excited about her new books and movie! The bunny figured every little girl should own the movie FROZEN ;).

Sometimes we forget how young Eve really is because she is always trying to do what Austin does. She is so intelligent and learns so fast!

Yummy! Candy!!

We had a fabulous Easter and it will take us months to eat all this candy! Having kids is the greatest! It allows you to relive your childhood and to continue on family traditions as we make new traditions of our own :).
