| 5 months is here and you are more perfect than ever!!! |
Sweet baby girl, how has another month already come and gone?! You are the perfect baby, just happy to be a part of this crazy clan :). Your two favorite past times are watching your siblings play and bath time! You absolutely LOVE bath time! You get so excited and kick, splashing water EVERYWHERE! You love when I duck for cover, or pretend to be surprised by your new favorite skill and you laugh with that big wide open smile of yours that I love so so much :). The government finally opened up the parks and splash pads so you have gotten outdoors more in the past two weeks then you have your entire life! Mom is so happy to be outside again and your siblings are so happy to be running free! You love to get cooled off in the icy cold water and then sit in the shade on a blanket with Mom while we watch your siblings play. We lay next to each other and look up into the trees, watching the leaves sway in the breeze and the clouds move slowly in the sky. You are my grounding force, my constant reminder to slow down. It saddens me when I rock you to sleep at night and notice that you are indeed growing up. Your little legs are now long enough to touch the arm rest of the rocking chair and you love kicking it while you nurse to sleep.
I am excited to announce that YOU SAID YOUR FIRST WORD!!! You can now say Mama!!! Now you say it all the time and I can't ever get enough of hearing it! It is so evident that you are beyond intelligent because that is incredibly early to be talking, but it doesn't surprise me at all because I've known from the first moment I held you that you are one smart cookie! You are also rolling from tummy to back, and sometimes from back to tummy (although you don't really like this one). I think it has to do with those chunky legs you've got and how much effort it takes to roll them over ;). You are also constantly drooling and I think it has to do with teething, but you still haven't popped any teeth out yet. Your siblings love you to pieces and Evie calls you "baby angel" because she thinks you are as perfect as they come, and I have to agree with her ;).
